Workshop - "Proactive IT Security

HTCIA Asia Pacific Chapter in conjunction with the Hong Kong Computer Society have arranged a hands-on workshop scheduled for the whole day on Saturday 18th October at the HK Productivity Council in Kowloon Tong.

This workshop aims to show in a hands on environment how IT Security personnel can prepare and equip themselves to take on an investigative role and develop incident response plans which include analysis. In addition, with the prevalence of data leakage incidents the workshop will also teach some methodologies to use for analysis of systems to trace the source of leakages or theft of sensitive data.

Attendees will learn:

  • Current malware threats and capabilities
  • Developing an incident response plan
